Established
As the first blog of The [FOUND] Project, I deemed it necessary to define the purpose of this project and this blog. Please grant me some sort of leeway, seeing how I am sort of new to this aspect of the Internet. Right now, this is a third aspect of TFP; the other including a Myspace music page as well as a Facebook group. All of these aspects make up a ministry that exists to encourage believers to be bold in their faith.
So, for starters, welcome to my blog and I hope you are encouraged by what is posted here. Please feel free to comment. Now that that has been said, let’s get started! Below is the mission and sole purpose of The [FOUND] Project:
The Found Project is not a new idea, but it has become a new ministry. The foundation of TFP is found in Philippians 3:7-14 and Ephesians 2:1-13. As Christians, we have been found and made alive in Christ. We once were far from Christ, but now, we have been brought near by the blood of Christ. As new creations in Christ, we are "projects" that God continuously works on so that He, in turn, will receive all the glory!
The mission of The [FOUND] Project is to challenge people to live beyond the ordinary and to count everything as loss in order to know and follow passionately after Christ. TFP aims to challenge Christians to proclaim Christ so that the world may know and understand that there is hope and there is a God who is real and active.
The majority of this world is wandering around aimlessly, looking for something to believe in and something to live for. The deceitful schemes of Satan have been successful at keeping people from knowing what it means to truly live. Yes, every person that is alive is so because of a physical heartbeat, but not every person is alive spiritually, which means there is no sign of a spiritual heartbeat. Do you have a spiritual pulse?
In looking for love and hope, what do people see when they look at Christians? If we examine our lives, we will find that we, as Christians commanded by God, need to be the ones to show people what it means to be found and made alive in Christ.
It's time for a change. It's time to live [FOUND]!
